Default Life stealing for a warrior?

I am just wondering how useful it is to have an axe (or any warrior weapon) with life steal on it.

I just got an axe with max damage req 9 +30 health with 3 life steal.
I don't have alot of time to be able to test how effective it really is at this point..

Also how much would this axe be worth?

Oya, i am a W/N if that matters any

Thanks

It's basically 3 extra damage per hit. The life gain makes up for the -1 degen. Ofcourse you swap out of it when you're not in combat. I'd say in PvE Zealous is a lot better, but vamp is definitely OK.

Well, Zealous isn't too useful if you're running an adrenaline build, but then Furious starts to look pretty nice.

I run around with elemental all the time at the moment... But only because PvE is easy and the Icy Blade Axe is sexy...

Anyho, Vamp kicks ass for PvE, especially given that it bypasses the higher armour of PvE mobs.

At first I didn't think vamp axe was useful due to its life draining, but those were my noob days when I didn't realize I can carry more than 1 axe...

I think having a Zealous for a base, Vamp vs. high armor, and Elemental vs. ultra high armor [think above level 20, bosses, etc.] will give you a good set to work with.

Vamps also chew through any Ranger's armor as well when the elemental fails you.

Aslong as you dont go afk for 5min with your vamp weap equiped it's all fine by me ;-) An IAS is also useful with it since you will gain (and steal) more health. (ofcourse ias are almost always useful..)

You should only use ele for warrior enemies. Ranger enemies have +30 vs elemental, so what good would an ele mod do there?

Vamp mods are the highest dps mods $ can buy. Why not?? But i rather play it safe because i just hate the -1 degen.
